ROCK BAND MADNESS! The Berkshire Athenaeum held a Rock Band tournament for National Gaming Day. Here are the results!
Hello Moderators and Players. National Gaming Day is quickly approaching and we will be pushing out improvements to the site in the coming weeks. Before that can get started, I am going to be updating some of the backend code here at GT System on Monday Morning, October 19. You may see an hour or so of downtime, but the site should come back up exactly as it was before. New features and fixes will follow soon.
Teen Rock Band Night
On Wednesday, September 24, the Athenaeum held its first of a series of Rock Band Nights in the library auditorium, co-sponsored by the City of Pittsfield Youth Commission. The event drew 86 Pittsfield area teens who came to try out the library's new Rock Band system, play in their own rock band group, and challenge the Athenaeum's own guitar player, staff member Jeremy Goldstein. Twelve teens, all expert level players, challenged Jeremy and two beat him: Tim McCracken and Dylan LeSage. Equipment and refreshments were provided by the Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum. Check out the photos. Join us for the next time, Wednesday, October 22, at 5:30 p.m.
What is GT System?
GT System is a framework and a set of web tools for producing videogame tournaments of any size for players of any age or experience level. It gives you everything you need to promote and run a videogame tournament at your institution, and it allows all GT system players to see where how they stack up on local, regional and national leaderboards!
